The OPTIM-SVGm series combines static reactive power generators with capacitor banks for enhanced power factor correction. Models differ in frequency, number of steps, reactive power capacity, and composition:

  • Designed for specific system frequencies, such as 60 Hz.
• Number of Steps and Composition:
  • Models feature different step configurations and compositions to achieve the desired reactive power compensation, for example:
    • OPTIM SVGm-325-480-60Hz:
      • Frequency: 60 Hz
      • Number of Steps: 4
      • Reactive Power: 325 kvar at 480 V
      • Composition: 3 x 75 kvar + 100 kvar

Key Differences:

• System Configuration: Models are tailored for either three-wire or four-wire systems, affecting their application suitability.
